I had hideous plastic panels on our sliding glass doors in our family room. These were bought in a rush 10 years ago. Having looked at the window treatment on those doors for so many years, I was at a loss how to redecorate. I didn’t want too much sun to come into the room and create a blare on our TV, but I didn’t want to block out all of the sun. Did I need sheers behind the treatment. So many questions.

I hired Jan Bertin years ago for a home I had in Old Town and she was so wonderful to work with and gave me such good advice. So decided to hire her again. She arrived for 1st consultation and a week later came with my options. I now love being in that room and she kept sunlight in the room and created a very contemporary look that my husband and I love. Will definitely hire them again.

Falls Church is located in Virginia with a population of 12,332. Taking its name from The Falls Church, an 18th-century Church of England (later Episcopal Church) parish, Falls Church gained township status within Fairfax County in 1875. The first known government in the area was the Iroquois Confederacy. After exploration by Captain John Smith, England began sending colonists to what they called Virginia. While no records has yet been found showing the earliest colony settlement in the area, a cottage demolished between 1908 and 1914, two blocks from the city center, bore a stone engraved with the date “1699” set into one of its two large chimneys.
